Bio
Lucas Thorpe was born and raised in New York City. He was a sailor and attended Maine Maritime Academy before shifting his interest to art and completing a BFA in Studio Art from the University of New Mexico. He has shown his work at the Jen Bekman Gallery in New York and in a number of Tiny Vices projects curated by Tim Barber. His photographs have been published in Metropolis Magazine, Dear Dave Magazine, Wired, and Guernica Magazine. Lucas completed an MFA in Photography, Video and Related Media at the School of Visual Arts in 2008 and currently resides in New York City.
